my head is still exploding, the mist and the missle

is killing me

i feel like an idiot, all the energy sapped from me

no longer an oak but now a weed tossed and turned in the wind

somebody is reading a good sample of my stuff

as I cower on the blue sofa behind me

not fancy poetry, but the sad reality

the doctor called while I was on the sofa

I’m due more bloods

I was trying to put a face to the voice

at first she sounded like a black lady

then welsh, to tinnitus ears

anyway in end I understood

looking out the window Birmingham is still shrouded in mist

and I’m rocking in my chair, noise and pain everywhere

this is my life

and because I can only sleep in one position

It feels like my right knee to thigh has been hit by an iron bar

yes such a weed I have become

waiting for my food delivery at least I won’t starve for a week

but Chinese New Year is coming so treats will abound

and big daughter will be here to celebrate

so this is my life, and just in case Sharon Osbourne is reading this

YES it really was me fiddling with your wifi in your bedroom

at CPNEC 20 years ago, and Will Young was there too
